Cool Blue (WAB) grade is a wheel specifically developed to grind tool steels more efficiently. It has a mixture of white and monocrystalline grains combined with a special cool bonding agent which gives the wheel its cool blue appearance. These features provide a cool grinding action resulting in faster grinding capabilities and reduced burning of the workpiece.
